Michael C. Gerald is professor of pharmacy at the School of Pharmacy, University of Connecticut. He has served as an elected officer, appointed officer, and committee member in a variety of scientific, health professional, and educational organizations. He is author and co- author of over 100 publications and four books, including Pharmacology: An Introduction to Drugs.
