Kimberly Kafka is a certified Wilderness EMT who spends summers in Alaska and winters in Wisconsin. She has taught writing and literature at the University of Michigan, and has run writing workshops at Bennington College and the University of Southern Maine. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin, and Unalakleet, Alaska.
