Ann Douglas is the author of 27 books including The Complete Idiot's Guide to Canadian History. After spending the '70s hanging out in her parents' rec room in Mississauga, Ontario, Ann got a B.A. in history from the University of Toronto. She lives in Peterborough, Ontario, with her husband and four children.
